These days, a good suit is hard to come by. We’ve had plenty of clients who come to us confused as to where in the world to find a great suit that doesn’t just come off a rack. Having a location near the Garment District in LA does have its perks, but the real challenge there is finding something magnificent….without having to know the ins-and-outs of the garment industry. We’re thrilled to finally come across a shop that caters to the needs of fashion-forward men in such a sleek and stylish way, we couldn’t help but share this wonderful find! Today we’re introducing District Homme.
We were stunned by District Homme’s stylish (at times borderline hipster) line of men’s custom suits and we wanted to learn more about how it all got started! We found a great excerpt from the company’s website that give you the details:
In 2009, Deborah used her experiences to launch her own fashion house, District Homme. With a design headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles and tailors in both Los Angeles and New York City, this made-to-measure suitery offers bespoke suits for the modernly masculine man. Each suit represents a creative collaboration between Deborah and the client, with unique fabrics, cuts, colors and details. District Homme has steadily built up an extensive, international clientele base including celebrities and high-power executives. Deborah is currently developing District Femme, to provide custom suits and couture fashion for women.
What we found even more incredible about this shop was the process in which a magnificent suit is born. Believe us, nothing looks worse than an ill-fitting suit, but District Homme makes it very clear that their process ensures a suit that is meant to fit…perfectly. District Homme is so precise, they even note posture to ensure the quality of their fit!
So Grooms and groomsmen, look no further! Your dream suit is only a fitting away!
So excited to give you a live glimpse into the amazing couple that is Jackie & Bernie… aka… Bernkie!

Check out some gorgeous shots of our tablescape at Designer Speciality Linen’s Luxe Launch event! We were absolutely in love with the space at The Loft on Pine and haven’t been able to stop thinking about this event since! There’s been plenty of buzz on DSL’s new linen launch and we’ve even been featured on California Wedding Day for our Boho-Glam creation. You can check out the full article written by Lara Burnap with photos by Michelle Lacson Photography on California Wedding Day’s blog below!:
To complete the “Boho-Glam” look that melded an industrial feel with earthy romance, Good teamed up with Sussanna Davidson of French Buckets. The two created a hanging installation above the dining table with vintage bulb lights, lush florals like hanging amaranths, olive branches and garden roses among hanging glass orbs. The industrial chairs added a harder edge to the softness of the linens while bold pops of floral arrangements featuring garden roses, hydrangea, bright poppies and seeded eucalyptus were nestled among brass candlesticks sourced from West Elm. A simple touch of flipping the napkin inside out added depth and created a different feel to the pattern and really set off the place settings. “The best part was adding sparkling touches with crystal and amethyst geods that I curated on a trip to Arizona,” notes Good.
We had our dear friend Christine Bentley on the scene to grab some extra shots of this beautiful event! We absolutely love her attention to detail!
Happy Monday everyone! Today we’re giving you a sweet treat to start off your week…with a beautiful sneak peek of Penny & Andy’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch. These lovely shots from Clayton Austin get even better in the full post coming soon so stay tuned!
